About The Position

AWS Manufacturing & Repair operations is focused on automated assembly solutions where innovative solutions are needed to accelerate overall manufacturing time, working backwards from customers to increase critical capacity for AWS services by improving yield and reliability while reducing cycle time. This new highly cross-functional initiative brings together critical expertise from a wide-range of Amazon teams dedicated to meeting and exceeding customer expectations through innovative validation processes and Amazon operational excellence. We are seeking a Sr. Tech Ops Engineer Systems to serve as the operational and systems backbone of a new manufacturing and repair initiative at AWS scale. In this role, you will lead PMO functions, own roadmap planning, drive metric development, and ensure engineering uptime across the program. You will enable supplier partnerships and represent operational needs within SAP or other third-party warehouse management and ERP solutions, translating real-world workflow requirements into system specifications that support efficient manufacturing and repair operations. You will work in an environment where the business strategy is defined but the operational framework, tooling requirements, and performance infrastructure must be built from the ground up. You will influence across multiple partner and external teams, shape senior leader decisions, and serve as the connective tissue between program strategy, operational execution, and the systems that power both—driving long-term program impact. AWS Manufacturing & Repair is a part of the broader AWS Infrastructure Services team which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We are the teams who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we're looking for talented people who want to help. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. Come join our team and be a part of history as we deliver results for the largest cloud services company on Earth!
