About The Position

Century Golf Partners Management LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team in Dallas. This role offers a unique opportunity to serve as the primary accounting liaison for assigned golf course properties while gaining exposure to multi-entity financial reporting in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager & Controller, the Staff Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis across our managed properties. This position has no direct reports and is ideal for an accounting professional ready to deepen their experience and make a tangible impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting or financial experience
  • Experience with accounting software or ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) a plus
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas and pivot tables preferred)
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, and/or forecasting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow up on issues
  • Prolonged periods of computer-based work

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting functions for assigned golf course properties
  • Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze month-end balance sheet and bank reconciliations; research and resolve discrepancies
  • Analyze variances and investigate financial inconsistencies
  • Generate monthly financial reporting packages, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
  • Prepare and file sales tax returns
  • Support cash flow forecasting and other property-level accounting needs
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards
  • Assist with special accounting projects and ongoing process improvements
  • Provide documentation and support for year-end audits and owner requests
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting initiatives as needed
