About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator, assist participants (older adults with mild cognitive impairment) enrolled in an NIA-funded clinical trial with technical set up.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Good computer and communication/customer-service skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Comfort working with older participants, some of whom may have minimal computer skills, on the phone
Responsibilities
- Helping participants download software (JackTrip) onto their laptop or desktop
- Helping participants to connect their computer to the internet via ethernet cable
- Helping participants to connect the audio interface box to their laptop or desktop
- Helping participants to log onto the music sharing platform (JackTrip)
- Showing the participant how to use the features of music sharing software (e.g., where the chat button is, how to toggle between different views; how to adjust volume
- Assisting participants with accessing the online intervention group and troubleshooting by phone:
- Perform other duties as assigned
