Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
  • 5 years of experience working with storage systems and products.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • 3 years of experience working in a global organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
  • Experience with high-performance storage systems or devices, including large-scale deployment, management and monitoring utilities, and NVMe firmware/driver/system software, working with suppliers and manufacturers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal customers such as Cloud, Search, File/Object storage teams, etc.) and external vendors to enable timely onboarding of new storage systems and a flexible portfolio strategy.
  • Lead evaluation and development of new flash storage technologies, standards, drivers, health monitors, and storage management solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction for projects while working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Design, develop, and review systems designs and code from peers, within the scope of the broader area.
