This position will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable operational mechanisms that connect business strategy to execution through data-driven decision making and rigorous inspection systems. The role encompasses managing Strategic Business Reviews, Forecasting, and Top Deal Calls while establishing essential business rhythms that create the operational backbone for predictable business outcomes and growth in our Startups GenAI business. As a trusted advisor, this Startups GenAI Sales Operations Lead position will lead time-sensitive executive responses and conduct comprehensive data analyses to inform strategic decisions. The role will spearhead critical cross-functional projects including GPU capacity tracking, credits monitoring, and planning processes such as headcount planning and territory mapping. Success in this role requires exceptional ability to navigate complex cross-functional stakeholder environments, translate strategic vision into executable plans, and drive results through team leadership and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will develop simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, demonstrate excellent project management skills, and communicate complex analytical results clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally. In this role, you will leverage expertise in workflow optimization and data analytics to define key sales support systems aligned with our GenAI business objectives. You'll build strong relationships across Sales, Business Development, Partner, Finance, and Marketing functions, enabling you to lead change management initiatives and enhance operational productivity within the Global Startups GenAI business. Through removing roadblocks and driving solutions, you will empower our specialized sales force to effectively acquire, grow, and retain the best GenAI startups on AWS. About the team You are a key member of the regions leadership team, so you spend time in 1:1s with your Region's Sales Leader and Sales Managers. You love data and are comfortable providing deep analysis, spotting trends and leading interventions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience using sales CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, sales operations, or related fields with demonstrated success in scaling operational mechanisms
  • Track record of driving results through data-driven decision making, with exceptional analytical and business judgment skills
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
  • Track record of building and scaling operations in high-growth B2B technology or enterprise software companies
  • Strong understanding of Amazon's operational model and mechanisms
  • Understanding of startup ecosystem
  • Experience partnering with C-suite executives and influencing senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-impact operational mechanisms (e.g., Strategic Business Reviews, Forecasting, and Top Deal Calls) that drive GenAI business operational excellence and growth, converting strategy into measurable business outcomes
  • Design and operate scalable system to prioritize GenAI resources across the startup ecosystem through headcount planning, capacity tracking, credits monitoring, etc.
  • Support customer acquisition goals through a goaling framework and mechanisms
  • Lead time-sensitive executive responses and conduct comprehensive data analyses to inform strategic decisions
