Requirements

  • A team player who takes pride in keeping things spotless, organized, and running efficiently.
  • Energized by a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment and committed to supporting the team’s success.
  • Someone who values the details—because you know cleanliness and safety are the foundation of great hospitality.
  • Able to work independently, stay on task, and prioritize duties during high-volume times.
  • Physically able to meet the demands of the job (standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Open to working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Communicates in basic English; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in kitchen stewarding, dishwashing, or janitorial work is preferred, but we welcome those ready to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, walls, prep areas, and storage spaces.
  • Empty and sanitize trash containers regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
  • Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food and kitchen supplies.
  • Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Support the culinary team by delivering clean and organized kitchenware promptly during service.
  • Assist with basic food preparation (such as peeling or chopping) when needed.
  • Report maintenance or safety issues immediately to the supervisor or chef on duty.
  • Follow all sanitation and safety policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Help maintain kitchen organization and support inventory control as directed.
