Position Summary: The Store Supervisor is responsible for oversight of all aspects of the store side of a Branch and reports directly to the Branch Manager. They may oversee customer service, store operations, and employee supervision in a friendly, fast-paced team environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with supervisor experience preferred
  • Solid computer skills including use of MS Office with a willingness to learn new software programs
  • Must be able to understand and calculate gross profit/gross margin, add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • The ability to calculate averages and other functions preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds, stooping, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, constantly walking/standing on cement flooring and climbing ladders as needed
  • Work environment may vary: warehouse containing moving equipment, fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements, office work, manufacturing, machine shops, and any other specific business operations of current or potential customers

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, mentor, train, and support all employees
  • Generate and maintain accurate required documentation
  • Address and resolve all customer requests and/or complaints utilizing a positive, creative approach
  • Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Champion of MFCP programs and carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws
