About The Position

Strala is rebuilding the foundation of the world’s largest industry - insurance. In less than a year, we reached multi seven-figure ARR and are growing 50% MOM. We raised two rounds from Tier 1 funds including Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund, led by the partner who was early in OpenAI, Cognition and Scale AI. Our team comes from institutions like Harvard, Berkley & Oxford and firms like Optiver, AMD & Palantir (+ICPC, NeurIPS backgrounds). The Role We’re looking for an exceptionally structured, execution-focused operator to help us scale claims operations. You will work directly with our CEO to bring clarity and efficiency to the systems and processes that drive how insurance claims are handled at scale. This role fast-tracks you into leadership of a core business area: with real ownership and a mandate to build and lead a team on your own.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in MBB consulting, investment banking, private equity, or top-tier startup in a strategic projects/operations role
  • Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
  • You are exceptionally intelligent, hard working and ready to move fast
  • You are data-driven, structured and have attention to detail
  • You combine creative, solution-oriented thinking with detail-oriented execution
  • You get genuinely excited by tackling diverse, complex problems, always bringing structure and clarity
  • You are great with people - customers, teammates, partners -, build trust quickly and communicate effectively across different stakeholders
  • You enjoy building bridges between teams such as claims, engineering and sales
  • You are able to switch context quickly between different high-impact initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Own special projects and strategic initiatives, working directly with the CEO
  • Build and formalize claims operations as we scale rapidly (process, hiring, workflows)
  • Design scalable, data-driven processes that optimize our product workflows
  • Lead cross-functional problem solving across product, engineering, and business teams
