The CNS Dean’s Office is seeking a detail-oriented, organized and hard-working part-time student associate to provide an enhanced customer service experience to a diverse population of stakeholders of the College of Natural Sciences. This position is ideal for a student seeking practical hands-on customer service experience in a professional, team-oriented environment. To advance our core mission of fostering wellness, belonging, and success for all students.

Requirements

• The position requires 10-19 hours/week during standard office hours and a set, weekly schedule.
• This position is open to CNS students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3, GPA must be maintained throughout employment.
• This appointment is for Spring and Summer semester 2026 with the potential to renew in the following Fall Semester.
• Ideally the candidate will continue work through semesters

Nice To Haves

• Some experience in administrative or office work.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proper telephone etiquette are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• This position assists with on-site front desk management including student appointment check-ins and multi-line phone communication most of the time.
• Virtual office hours, projects to support staff, long-term organizational projects, general office maintenance, and other duties as assigned make up the other.
