Position Summary The Funding Coordinator is responsible for monthly attendance-based claim submissions, maintaining rate accuracy within state portals, and managing annual contract renewals to ensure timely and compliant reimbursement from state agencies. Reporting into billing, the Funding Coordinator partners closely with Operations to centralize and standardize funding processes, improve accuracy, and safeguard company revenue.

Requirements

  • Experience working with childcare subsidy programs and platforms.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or multi-center operations.
  • Strong understanding of state and federally funded subsidy programs, compliance, attendance reporting, and authorization requirements.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to improve workflows and accountability.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support center administrators.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accurate and timely end-to-end attendance submissions across multiple states
  • Understand and maintain knowledge of each agency’s platform and requirements
  • Monitor and report absences to Operations and families to ensure compliance with agency guidelines.
  • Maintain and update agency rate information as needed to ensure accurate reimbursement
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Operations, Billing and agencies
  • Collaborate with Operations and Billing to resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate with Operations on subsidy contract renewals, ensuring all necessary forms and documents are submitted within the stipulated time limits.
