About The Position

Seeking a General Foreman with Transmission & Distribution (T&D) experience in Texas. You will be responsible for overseeing daily construction site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Travel & Compensation $52/hour $945 Weekly Per Diem 100% Travel Required within Texas Company Vehicle & Gas Card Provided Significant Overtime Available Full health benefits + 401k match Key Responsibilities Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including scheduling, progress tracking, and resource allocation. Serve as liaison between customers, vendors, project managers, and internal teams. Control crew costs through effective manpower utilization, work methods, and equipment operation. Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to pre-plan schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment needs. Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment deliveries. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine construction requirements. Establish and monitor production goals and daily performance tracking. Manage equipment and material resources to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Inspect work progress, equipment, and job sites to ensure safety and compliance with specifications. Conduct safety training in accordance with company procedures. Investigate accident reports and damage claims; may serve as representative for minor claims. Complete and submit daily Foreman Reports to the Superintendent. Perform additional duties as assigned. Comply with all company policies and standards. Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
  • Must meet company vehicle driving standards per Motor Vehicle Safety Policy
  • Must successfully complete company assessment program
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, push, and pull.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and operate field tools and equipment
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights using fall protection equipment
  • Ability to work extended hours, frequent overtime, night shifts, limited days off, and in adverse weather condition
