About The Position

Prosek's Apprentice Program offers post graduate students the opportunity to launch their careers in certain areas of interest. Our 6-month program is designed to train the next generation of agency professionals.
We are in search of a talented apprentice to join our fast-growing data & analytics (DNA) team at Prosek. We are looking for a self-starter interested in how data and insights guide storytelling and strategy, solve client challenges, and measure impact.
Our team is made up of intellectually curious researchers, data analysts, writers, creatives, strategists, and counselors. We get to work with many of the largest and most recognizable global brands and help them navigate the always-evolving world of digital marketing and communications.

Requirements

• Completed BS/BA degree by the start of the program.
• A demonstrated interest in how data informs marketing communications strategy and results.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Curiosity and a desire to learn.
• Ability to conduct analysis and understand the value of measurement
• Strong knowledge of statistics principles and familiarity in using statistics in a real-world setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess a team player mindset and willingness to work collaboratively
• Have solid research and critical thinking skills along with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Extreme attention to detail is a must.

Nice To Haves

• Curiosity around AI and its application to communications and analysis
• Strongly encouraged (but not required) to have prior data and/or research-focused internship(s).

Responsibilities

• Work alongside DNA team members and integrated internal Prosek account teams to support various data-related requests.
• Understand data sources and systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Utilize social listening, media monitoring and measurement, and analytics tools: Talkwalker, Signal AI, Tagger, SEMrush, etc. for various analyses.
• Perform deep dive analyses on data from multiple sources to identify opportunities for clients, spot trends, and measure performance.
• Assist with reporting and presenting results and data-driven narratives in focused, actionable and compelling ways.
• Support in the execution of quantitative and qualitative research projects, including but not limited to, online surveys, focus groups, in-depth interviews, and online communities.
