Amentum is NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States. We are looking for a Summer 2026 - Electrical Design and Test Engineering Intern to join our team. The selected candidate will: Assist with hardware and software work related to design, installation, testing Assist with troubleshooting with electrical test equipment (i.e. voltmeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.). Assist with technical products including test setups, development setups and documentation generation Support testing activities for engineering development programs including International Space Station, Orion and Commercial Crew. Participate in technical meetings and design reviews Learn the processes and test methods in the Energy Systems Test Area with electrical engineering design, test and maintenance functions. Perform other tasks assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university.
  • Completed at least 45 credit hours.
  • Minimum of 2.8 GPA.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in MS Office programs, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
