Our Intern program is a paid opportunity that allows participants to contribute to the organization’s success while at the same time applying learnings from the classroom. This semester we will continue with a hybrid program and will offer each participant the opportunity to gain in-office experience for approximately 3-days a week. Interns are responsible for their individual transportation and housing needs. Hospitality Associate Expectations: Assists Hospitality team with end-to-end client hospitality initiatives and programs, including venue research, activation and gifting ideation and deck creation for client deliverables; Will learn how to build and maintain positive client relationships that result in increased reliance upon Excel; Will learn how to develop ideas for engaging event branding, collateral, and on-site materials; Will learn how to create planning tracking tools and on-site materials: rooming lists, confirmation documents, food and beverage schedule, transportation manifest, etc. Assists in the management and data upload/tracking of client deliverables; Assists the Hospitality team with confidential client projects; Will gain a thorough understanding of the coordination and planning process of hospitality events and programs; Will learn the process of negotiation and execution of contracts; Will gain cross-functional exposure in the collaboration of client presentations and/or pitches; Will have access to the Excel team for industry advice and learnings; May occasionally be assigned projects outside the Brand Marketing group to gain exposure to other divisions within Excel; May be asked to travel for event work and provide on-site support for events outside of normal business hours The pay for this position is: $17.00 per hour.
