About The Position

Jack Laurie Group is looking for Summer Helpers to join our construction team for the busy summer season! This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands -on work and want to gain experience in the commercial construction industry, especially in sports flooring.

Requirements

• No experience required – we’ll train you!
• Willingness to work hard and learn new skills.
• Must be dependable and show up on time.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet throughout the day.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation and maintenance of sports flooring including hardwood basketball courts, rubber tile, and other specialty surfaces.
• Supporting crews on commercial flooring projects in locations like offices, clinics, and more.
• Handling tools and materials, prepping job sites, and performing cleanup.
• Learning basic flooring installation techniques on the job.
• Working as part of a team in a fast -paced, physical environment.
