About The Position
Amcor is now recruiting for summer helpers to join the team in Neenah! Positions available on a rotating 8 hour shift schedule with compensation starting at $24.58 per hour! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (some specific tasks and duties for getting the job done): Set up, operate, and adjust machines and auxiliary equipment. Supply machines with resins and with packing supplies from satellite areas. Make roll changes, take samples, label and pack product, and stretch wrap finished loads. Conduct certain quality tests and monitor product to ensure conformance to spec. Make inventory transactions. Restock unused resins. Move waste and recycle loads to specified area, so Production Suppliers can pick up. Other duties as assigned by supervision. UTILITY WORKERS IN COATING GET TO: Responsible for assisting extrusion laminator/coater operator in setting up and running equipment. Assist Coater Operator with all aspects of the job Learn to operate the machine and serve as backup operator when operator is away from machine or on vacation. Banding return stock, empty cores, headers, start-up rolls, and butt rolls Loading new stock on back of machine and unloading finished rolls Changing and cleaning silicon rolls Adjust slitters and tension for each job Daily and weekly housekeeping All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Requirements
- Ability to use computer keyboard, mouse, and printer for entering and documenting production settings and data.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment.
