This summer internship at Harmony offers a unique perspective into a rare-disease-focused biotech company. Our internship program will provide you with the opportunity to work on real-world projects, as well as network with people at Harmony through various events and activities. Summary of Position: This position will support the Market Access team, with a focus on Trade & Distribution and Patient Services. This role offers hands-on exposure to how specialty pharmaceuticals are distributed, reimbursed, and supported – providing a unique opportunity to learn how commercial strategy directly impacts patient access and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum age for all candidates must be at least 18 years or older.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a degree in Pharmacy.
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including flexibility, collaboration, and inclusion skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate must be flexible, proactive, and able to work effectively with ambiguity and incomplete information.
  • Prior work experience required.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Proficiency in Excel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support Trade and Patient Services initiatives focused on improving patient onboarding, access, and ongoing therapy management.
  • Assist with the analysis of specialty pharmacy performance metrics (e.g., referral volume, conversion, time-to-fill, adherence)
  • Help analyze patient access trends and identify opportunities to improve patient experience.
  • Support coordination between Patient Services and Trade teams to ensure alignment on access strategies.
