Summer 2026 Internship
About The Position
SIFMA is currently looking for a Summer Intern. An internship at SIFMA gives candidates hands-on experience working on substantive and challenging projects, while collaborating with experts in the financial services industry and public policy arena. Throughout the nine-week program, each intern will be assigned specific projects, to be completed by the program’s end and for which they will receive authorship credits. About us: SIFMA is the leading trade association for broker-dealers, investment banks and asset managers operating in the U.S. and global capital markets. On behalf of our industry’s 1 million employees, we advocate on legislation, regulation and business policy, affecting retail and institutional investors, equity and fixed income markets and related products and services. We serve as an industry coordinating body to promote fair and orderly markets, informed regulatory compliance, and efficient market operations and resiliency. We also provide a forum for industry policy and professional development. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstration of excellent clerical, organizational, time management and written and verbal communication skills
- Technical skills including a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with database use and functionality
- Ability to prioritize tasks/workload
- Demonstrates professional demeanor
- Commitment to provide superior customer service with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients
- Shows work effectiveness, persistency and commitment
