The Niron Magnetics Summer Internship Program is a 10-week, full-time (40 hours per week) experience designed to immerse interns in meaningful, real-world work that directly supports Niron’s growth and technical roadmap. From Monday, June 8, 2026 through Friday, August 14, 2026, interns will be fully embedded within a functional team, working on a clearly defined project aligned to business and engineering priorities. This is not a shadowing or observational program—interns are expected to contribute, learn quickly, and take ownership of deliverables with guidance from experienced mentors. Interns will be placed in one primary focus area based on interest, background, and business need. Please indicate your preferred area(s) when applying. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a trade/associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s program in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated interest in advanced manufacturing, materials science, sustainability, or innovation
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious, motivated, and eager to learn by doing

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute a defined project within your assigned focus area
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across engineering, operations, and R&D
  • Conduct research, data analysis, experimentation, testing, or process improvement work
  • Participate in regular check-ins with mentors and program leads
  • Document findings, insights, and recommendations throughout the program
  • Prepare and deliver a final project presentation to Niron leadership at the conclusion of the internship
  • Engage in professional development sessions, technical learning opportunities, and networking events
