About The Position

The purpose of this position is to repair and maintain Brazos River Authority facilities at Possum Kingdom Lake. Essential duties and responsibilities include: maintaining public use areas by mowing, weed eating, picking up trash and cleaning restrooms; maintaining the dam, assist in maintaining paved and gravel roads, maintaining facilities; assisting with the construction of facilities and structures; maintaining minor equipment by changing oil and grease and making repairs; and any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to recognize the meaning of common two or three syllable words
• ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations
• ability to write simple sentences containing subject, verb, and object, and/or series of numbers, names, and addresses
• Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes
• Driver's license and good driving record
