About The Position

The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day concession operations to ensure efficient service, regulatory compliance, accurate inventory control, and an exceptional guest experience. This role provides frontline leadership to concession staff and subcontractors, ensuring operational excellence, team development, and adherence to company standards in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
The Supervisor serves as a visible leader during events, proactively managing staff performance, guest flow, inventory, safety, and service recovery while maintaining open communication with management and support teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned concession stands, portables, and bars to ensure readiness and efficiency before, during, and after events
• Train, coach, and supervise concession staff on company policies, food safety, service standards, and equipment use, while enforcing compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and service policies
• Coaches team members in real time to improve guest engagement and service recovery techniques
• Establishes rapport with guests and resolves grievances while protecting brand standards and the reputation of Nationals Park
• Holds team members accountable to performance, attendance and conduct standards through consistent feedback and coaching. Identifies training gaps and coordinates additional instruction as needed
• Maintains a visible leadership presence during peak periods to model guest-first behaviors, while monitoring guest flow and adjusting staffing or operations to minimize wait times
• Ensures compliance with food safety, addressing violations immediately and professionally. Conducts regular inspections of concession areas for cleanliness and compliance
