Position Summary As the Distribution Center Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the Front Store Production lines (order selectors/pickers) in the CVS Health's distribution facility. In this role, you will direct workflow for warehouse employees and lead their team to meet and exceed daily targets. You will manage day to day work operations and evaluate work performance. Assists manager in the total leadership and operations with initiative, leadership and continuous improvement thinking. This is a Monday- Friday, 1st shift role. Shifts are primarily between 6AM-2PM with additional flexibility needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience within a Distribution Center/Warehouse
  • 2+ years supervisory experience
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office
  • Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
  • Background in Six Sigma production techniques
  • Bi-Lingual preferred

Responsibilities

  • Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
  • Promotes and reinforces safety and security awareness and compliance among all colleagues.
  • Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products.
  • Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.
  • Manages day to day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded.
  • Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations.
  • Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics.
