Position is for one (1) Supervisor of Engineering Services – Materials, reporting to the Manager of Engineering/Material Services successful candidate. This individual will manage an hourly workforce responsible for planning and implementing technical requirements for design disclosure support and liability documents across all programs. This role is responsible for the sourcing, identification, verification, and maintenance of the Engineering Parts List requirements in Teamcenter and/or CATIA at any stage of disclosure development. This position requires the ability to read and interpret drawings, Common Parts Catalog data, Engineering Bill of Material, product structure, and overall drawing/disclosure development and change processes. These processes are used in the acquisition, fabrication, installation and test phases of all current construction programs including interpreting part definition and data requirements to generate procurement feeds. Additionally, the interpretation of part data in support of hardware procurement and inventory management through the Specification History and parts equivalency process is required. This position requires knowledge and experience in developing instructions for employees to follow, as well as supporting monthly self-audits of documents for ISO9001 compliance and other audit processes such as the Material Management Accounting System (MMAS), ship certification reviews, and NAVSEA audits.
