Department OverviewWe are looking for a dynamic Supervisor, Local Experience, who will play a critical role in delivering localized HR support for Director level and below employees across the globalized corporate functions. This role ensures proximity to the business for tasks that cannot be met through employee self-services or scaled service channels. In addition to core support responsibilities, the LEX Supervisor will lead employee relations investigations, partnering with People Partners to ensure timely, thorough, and compliant resolution of workplace concerns. This role will report to the Sr Director- US Market People Partner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, employee relations or shared services
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in a dynamic, global environment
  • Experience with employee relations and legal investigations
  • Ability to successfully execute against multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to create relationships and influence partners
  • Adept at forging a collaborative approach and aligning team members/resources to achieve outcomes
  • Familiarity with HR systems and data governance
  • Experience supporting employee experience initiatives
  • Experience with developing and delivering group presentations
  • Ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Comfort with Word, PowerPoint and collaborative technologies; high Excel proficiency is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a HR Business Partner type role is preferred but not required
  • Experience in supporting HRBP teams or shared services environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct HR support to Director and below employees across the globalized corporate functions
  • Serve as the first point of contact for business-critical tasks not addressed through McDonald’s+Me or the Scaled Service contact center
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with Global People strategy and tools
  • Lead and manage employee relations investigations, including intake, documentation, analysis, and resolution
  • Partner with the Workplace Investigation Team, Legal, and People Partners to ensure investigations are handled with integrity, confidentiality, and compliance
  • Track trends and escalate systemic issues or risks to appropriate stakeholders
  • Serves as the point of contact for ensuring all investigations are accurately entered into People Place, supporting seamless tracking and reporting by the WIT
  • Maintain system permissions for “granted groups” and ensure secure access to employee data
  • Use data insights to inform support strategies and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with People Partners to ensure seamless support across G6 and below levels and functions
  • Escalate complex or strategic issues to People Partners, the Workplace Investigation Team or Legal as appropriate
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve employee experience and operational efficiency
