About The Position

In the role, you will:

Supervise mechanical team executing maintenance on mill equipment
Facilitate toolbox talks and support BOS principles including 5S
Conduct field leadership activities
Time confirm all scheduled maintenance work orders
Work with maintenance planner to create weekly maintenance schedule
Understand site safety policies/procedures and create work permits as required
Ensure team members have all materials required to perform the job safely, including PPE and proper tools
Ensure team members have appropriate training related to assigned tasks
Support team with HR related inquiries such as vacation requests and payroll questions
Engage with team members in 1:1 sessions to address concerns and support team development

Requirements

• Supervisory experience in a high paced environment
• Certification in mechanical engineering, or journeyperson trade
• Minimum 5 years maintenance experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Willing to learn and positive attitude

Nice To Haves

• Potash experience is an asset
