A day in the life of an Operations Supervisor at VF looks a little like this. In this position you will be responsible for the supervision of the accurate and timely operations of replenishment, picking, trouble resolution and Value-Added Services (VAS). Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Ensures fiscal responsibility targets are met including budgets and forecasts, cost control and reporting as it relates to labor planning and supplies. Assume responsibility of product from replenishment on a wave-by-wave basis through fast pick/shelf picking, trouble resolution and VAS. Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for all aspects of the daily/monthly workflow. Sets clear and measurable goals for all associates on a daily/monthly/yearly basis. Provide supervisory leadership to area associates to ensure outstanding service to internal and external customers. Establishes workload priorities and provides clear daily objectives for the area under supervision. Create, generate, and analyze DC/LM reports to ensure throughput goals are being met. Ensure full compliance with VF policies and procedures. What do you need to succeed? While formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 2+ years of related experience and professional achievements. The foundation skills you will need in this position are: 2+ years of equivalent warehouse experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience and proficiency with WMS (PkMS) or other comparable WMS, RF and MHE technologies. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations. Ability to lead, coach and develop staff to improve performance and achieve goals. Ability to balance and prioritize competing demands. Ability to interact with all levels of management with confidence and respect. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in core computer skills (Microsoft Office). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (Bi-lingual - Spanish preferred). There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred. Bachelor’s Degree What do we offer you? Requirements

  • 2+ years of equivalent warehouse experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
