About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Access CHL/CHF, provides direct supervision for staff and revenue cycle functions for the Pre-Registration Department including hiring, training, and evaluation of employee performance. Ensures adequate staffing and resources are available. Ensures quality pre-registration prior authorization activities by supervising and monitoring the day to day activities. Requirements

  • Extensive Insurance knowledge that would include Prior Authorizations.
  • Two years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Associates Degree).
  • Three to five years of related Insurance/Pre-Auth or healthcare experience and/or training.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Knowledge of patient processing software, and Microsoft office suite required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with payroll processing strongly preferred.
