About The Position

Supplier Coordinator- Cleveland Area Position Summary: The Supplier Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of internal and external suppliers in the Cleveland area for the Minerva, OH facility. Working with suppliers, this individual must ensure the achievement of product input, quality and on-time delivery to the Minerva facility. These objectives will be achieved in part by working with Engineering, Quality, Information Systems, Purchasing, and Operations. Essential Functions: Responsible for meeting specifications and delivery commitments Formulates long and short-range strategies for continuous improvements for all plant manufacturing functions Control quality, delivery, cost of production, work in process levels, and monitors production through planning Recommends and purchases new equipment for expansion, efficiency, cost reductions, quality or improvement Manage operational metrics including TOC, scrap daily and weekly targets Maintains and enhances a team environment and motivates the production workforce Execute operating budgets for department Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Successful experience in related production operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, relentlessly execute and deliver results in conformance with action plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Willing to work flexible hours including off-shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet production demands.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management desired.
  • Prefer 2+ years of experience in operations in a manufacturing environment.
