About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Supply Base Management Specialist to join the Fabrication Program Integration Management Team located at Boeing South Carolina in Final Assembly on 1st shift. We integrate Boeing Fabrication Manufacturing Business Units (MBU) in support of the 787 Program ensuring parts are delivered on time with 1st pass quality. Position Responsibilities: Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations. Manages and monitors Fabrication quality and delivery. Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs. Develops and implements Fabrication base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies. Analyzes Fabricaiton and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies. Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Supply Chain management, procurement, logistics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of using Supply Chain systems/processes.
  • 3+ years of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • 3+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Supply Chain Integration experience.
  • Previous Fabrication experience.
  • Project management/Lean experience.
