About The Position

Purpose: Perform transactions and coordinate internal and external activities related to the data management and analysis of Item Master. Responsible for item set up, item updates, validation of cost and lead times. Additional responsibilities to include being the Trade Compliance POC for Purchasing. Summary: Detailed-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee the integrity and accuracy of our item master data in the ALP system. This involves collaborating with multiple departments as well as external suppliers to ensure that the item data is accurately entered and maintained. Individual will also serve as the Trade Compliance POC for the Alpharetta Purchasing Team.

Requirements

  • Must have experience with Purchasing, Supplier negotiation, ERP systems, and Materials/Inventory Management
  • Strong analytical details and attention to details
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration. Equivalent Purchasing/Supply Chain experience will be considered
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Purchasing within a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Process requests to add/transfer part numbers into the ALP SL9 according to the defined process.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of item master data in the system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Work with suppliers on quotes for pricing and lead time.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for item master data inquiries.
  • Serve as the POC for Trade Compliance related to ALP Purchasing
  • Performs other duties as assigned
