About The Position

As the Intern on Viant’s Corporate Supply Chain Team you will take responsibility for several projects as assigned by the team.
To do well in this role, you need experience querying, cleaning and presenting data from a wide variety of sources and formats and a working knowledge of basic business concepts.
This position is responsible for collecting and assembling data, analyzing business performance, identifying and troubleshooting problems, and developing recommendations to deliver operations planning and decisions. This role will also develop process documents and procedures to standardize supply chain tasks.
This position requires someone with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, including senior management, manufacturing/operations, supply chain/planning, and finance.
You will need to be able to manage your time effectively to complete tasks in line with deadlines.

Requirements

• Expert in Excel with data import, lookups, pivots, macros.
• Ability to mine and cleanse data from a wide variety of file formats.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks in line with deadlines.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with ERP systems and other manufacturing operations systems preferred.
• Experience in KINAXIS Rapid Response preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an audit of Viant’s Freight spend to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Update documentation of Viant’s standard supply chain procedures and load them into our Learning Management System
• Track the impact of tariff’s on Viant and perform analytics to mitigate tariff’s
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
