What You Will Do As the Supply Chain Planner, you will play a key role in supporting Island Way’s supply planning and inventory management across North American markets. Working within our streamlined S&OP process, you’ll help balance supply and demand by managing inventory levels, optimizing sourcing decisions, and identifying opportunities to reduce excess inventory while meeting service level commitments. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales and cross-functional partners to align forecasts, improve demand planning accuracy, and refine planning models. Through strong data analysis and significant Excel expertise, you’ll help translate insights into actionable plans that support a fast-growing business and continuously improve our planning processes.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in supply chain, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 2+ years’ experience in inventory management, logistics and supply planning.
  • Hands-on experience in forecasting and demand planning.
  • Experience with different forecasting models, inventory management models and statistics.
  • Excellent Excel skills (ninja level) and the ability to communicate status updates through data to stakeholders and peers.
  • CPG experience is a must, food/bev manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • International supply chain experience preferred.
  • Ability to work across teams and with remote team members.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Thrives on a lean team in a small or medium-sized, scaling company environment.
  • High level of initiative, responsibility, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Superior communication skills and team spirit.

Nice To Haves

  • ERP working knowledge (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or similar).
  • B.S. in Business, Finance or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in Frozen product supply chains.

Responsibilities

  • Support the supply planning process as part of our streamlined S&OP.
  • Manage inventory levels across all supply chain locations to meet business SLA’s.
  • Optimize sourcing requirements to achieve working capital targets.
  • Manage excess inventory and determine ways to prevent over sourcing.
  • Fine-tune inventory rules according to the demand plan and market trends.
  • Develop demand planning models, align forecasts from Sales, and support their inclusion into our planning processes.
  • Improve the forecast accuracy through cross-functional coordination and continual improvements of the forecasting and demand planning tool.
