Discover Impactful Work: The Supply Chain Specialist II is responsible for end-to-end order management and serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts. This role ensures strong alignment between customer expectations and operational capabilities by proactively managing communication, identifying risks, and driving solutions. The position requires balancing customer satisfaction with operational readiness, prioritizing competing demands, and collaborating effectively across functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, supply chain, or order management (equivalent combinations of education and relevant work experience may be considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ERP systems and customer relationship management tools.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain, production, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and escalate risks appropriately.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Effective problem-solving and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end order management for assigned customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment from order entry through delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer order-related matters, ensuring clear communication, setting expectations, and driving issue resolution.
  • Partner cross-functionally with planning, production, warehouse, and logistics teams to align customer priorities with supply chain capabilities and constraints.
  • Identify potential delivery risks, material shortages, or capacity challenges early and implement solutions that support both customer satisfaction and business objectives.
  • Lead customer meetings to review order status, delivery performance, and service recovery plans, ensuring alignment on action items and timelines.
  • Manage and prioritize urgent and escalated requests, making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Resolve order discrepancies, shipment issues, and process gaps by coordinating corrective actions across internal stakeholders.
  • Own Order Desk key performance indicators, including On Time Delivery (OTD), escalation resolution time, and delivery date accuracy, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
