About The Position

The CIIP Warehouse Operations Supply Technician Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and supply operations within the Clothing Initial Issue Point (CIIP). This position provides technical leadership and operational oversight to ensure accurate receipt, storage, inventory control, issuance, and accountability of uniforms and organizational clothing. The Supply Technician Lead ensures compliance with contract requirements, property accountability standards, and organizational policies while maintaining efficient workflow and high customer service standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 3–5 years of warehouse, logistics, or supply operations experience
Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
Experience with inventory management systems (Control Panel, Warehouse Manage System (WMS), and Virtual Item Manager (VIM).
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and property accountability procedures.
Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment (certification preferred).
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance (if applicable).
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
Applicant must possess a REAL ID‑compliant, state‑issued driver’s license.
Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation results, obtain and maintain a CAC.
Physical Demands &Work Environment:
Work performed in warehouse and CIIP facility environment.
Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
May operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Oversight:
Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping uniforms and organizational clothing.
Ensure proper storage methods to prevent loss, damage, or deterioration of items.
Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, verifying accuracy against documentation.
Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Coordinate material handling activities and workflow prioritization.
Supply & Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or automated inventory systems.
Conduct and oversee periodic inventories, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests as needed.
Ensure property accountability and compliance with applicable regulations.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Leadership & Technician Guidance
Supervise warehouse and supply personnel; assign tasks and monitor performance.
Provide training on supply procedures, warehouse operations, and safety protocols.
Serve as the technician subject matter expert (SME) for CIIP supply operations.
Ensure timely and accurate support to customers during initial issue, exchanges, and turn-ins.
Support contract performance metrics and reporting requirements.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations.
Enforce proper use of warehouse equipment and material handling procedures.
Maintain documentation and records in accordance with contract and company policy.
