Warehouse Ops Lead
About The Position
ProFast is opening a new Ohio branch and is seeking a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Operations Lead to support operations in a 4,000 sq. ft. fulfillment-focused facility. This role works closely with one outside sales representative and reports directly to our Pittsburgh Branch Manager. To be successful in this role, a candidate should be organized, proactive, possess the ability to multitask in a busy work environment and have the communication skills to handle any customer questions and concerns. The Warehouse Ops Lead will operate a forklift, pick, pack, and ship orders, and ensure accurate handling of incoming and outgoing inventory. This role includes assembling equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service when interacting with vendors and clients. Teamwork, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude are essential.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years warehouse experience preferred
- Experience using ERP systems (Netsuite a plus)
- Familiarity with LTL shipping processes
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record ability to obtain a DOT Health Card
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Strong organization skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Comfortable working independently
- Self-motivated and driven
- Strong communication sills both written and verbal
Nice To Haves
- Experience in construction or industrial supply distribution is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Accurate shipping and receiving of inter-company transfer as well as purchase orders for vendors. Receive and verify incoming shipments
- Accurately process receiving and order fulfillment in ERP system
- Assembly of new equipment to be delivered to customers.
- Logging of customer equipment and tools sent in for repairs
- Maintain a high level of customer service when dealing with customers and vendors alike.
- Stock and organize inventory
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders
- Coordinate LTL shipments and carrier pickups
- Load and unload trucks safely
- Make occasional local deliveries using pickup, trailer, or box truck
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
- Work towards continuous quality improvement.
- Uphold, support and promote all company policies and procedures
