About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Surveillance Technician Manager; installs, maintains, and repairs all surveillance related systems and equipment. Troubleshoots, keeps accurate repair logs, knows proper use of tools and associated test equipment to repair and/or complete maintenance of CCTV systems.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School diploma or GED.
  • Requires previous CCTV technician experience or qualification via on-the-job training with the casino.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Knowledge of basic computer, networking, video, and electronic troubleshooting techniques preferred.
  • Must have valid Iowa driver’s license and acceptable driving record to.
  • Operate company vehicles/equipment Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work independently without supervision.
  • Must be flexible with working hours and days off.
  • Must be proficient in basic math skills and mental computations.
  • Must be able to see objects up close and hear adequately to utilize two-way radios for communications between technicians and the monitor room.
  • Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess good computer skills.
  • Must display a level of maturity commensurate with the responsibility of the position.
  • Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Director and Technical Manager with the logistics during the installation of new systems or during major expansions of existing systems.
  • Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
  • Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
  • Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
  • Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
  • Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
  • Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
  • Assist in maintaining the CCTV system and equipment per gaming regulations.
  • Attends all required department meetings and casino training sessions.
  • Fill in as a Surveillance Observer when necessary.
  • Performs assigned duties in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
  • Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
