Lockheed Martin is looking for an energetic Systems Engineer - Early Career, to join the Next Generation GEO (NGG) team in Denver, Colorado. This position is in support of the NextGen OPIR program, responsible for testing interfaces with various USSF and Joint organizations and their supporting contractors, and will define the scope of testing necessary to demonstrate Space to Ground System Certification and prepare the vehicles for Operational Acceptance. In this role you will: Prepare for and participate in checkpoints for planned NextGen GEO enterprise deliveries Develop test approaches, objectives, plans, and procedures Collect vital test data and conduct analysis of test data to support objective assessment Provide technical support and information to government personnel performing operations, developmental test, and assist engineering teams in troubleshooting efforts Travel along the Front Range of Colorado on an occasional basis will be required, with possible out of state travel for technical interchange meetings, design reviews and other integration events
