About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and talented current college student majoring in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering to join our team for a 2026 Summer Internship position. This role offers a hands-on experience aiding in the design, development and analysis of “smart” munitions through real-world engineering projects in a collaborative environment. As an intern, you will assist in running system performance analyses through the utilization of our 6 Degree-of-Freedom munitions simulator and its accompanying home-grown toolsets. Ideal candidates should possess a foundational understanding in Newtonian mechanics, atmospheric flight dynamics, and high-level programming languages like MATLAB or Python. Additionally, attributes such as strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, curiosity and a willingness to learn are essential. The internship will run during the summer of 2026 and offers valuable exposure to industry professionals and practical applications of academic knowledge. This position is located in our Southern New Hampshire Hudson, NH office approximately 1 hour north of Boston, MA. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must currently reside in or be willing to self-relocate to Southern New Hampshire or surrounding areas.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree college program in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Must have completed at least one year of coursework by the internship start date.
  • Foundational understanding in Newtonian mechanics, atmospheric flight dynamics, and high-level programming languages like MATLAB or Python.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, curiosity and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Assist in running system performance analyses through the utilization of our 6 Degree-of-Freedom munitions simulator and its accompanying home-grown toolsets.
