About The Position
This is a System Programmer I position, located in the Information Systems Program in Tallahassee, FL. This is work installing, configuring, and supporting an organization's computer systems. Incumbents maintain computer hardware and software, monitor networks to ensure network availability to all systems. Incumbents may also supervise and/or assist other network support and client server specialists to plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures. Tests and evaluates hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing system. Develops and writes procedures for installation, use, and solving problems of communications hardware and software.
Requirements
- Five years of work-related experience in supporting, troubleshooting, and problem solving for enterprise level computers.
- Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, and/or Intune.

Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming support requests via ticketing system, phone, and email
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues
- Install and configure software applications and updates
- Assist with password resets and account unlocks
- Provide excellent customer service and document resolutions
