About The Position

Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support recruitment and hiring initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will assist with recruitment coordination, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking processes to support efficient hiring operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple recruiting processes in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of recruiting coordination or HR support experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage confidential candidate information responsibly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting recruitment within government contracting environments.
  • Familiarity with federal hiring compliance requirements.
  • Experience coordinating hiring for technical or defense-related roles.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain recruitment pipelines and applicant tracking system records.
  • Assist with job postings and candidate sourcing initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate candidate communications and follow-ups.
  • Support onboarding preparation for new hires.
  • Assist recruiters and hiring managers with recruitment logistics.
  • Maintain documentation related to hiring decisions and candidate evaluations.
  • Track recruiting metrics and hiring progress.
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with equal employment opportunity regulations.
  • Maintain recruitment documentation in accordance with company and federal requirements.
  • Assist with government contractor hiring compliance reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems.
  • Generate recruitment reports and hiring metrics for HR leadership.
  • Assist with recruitment analytics and workforce planning data.
