About The Position

Bulk Environmental & Industrial is a fast-growing leading professional transportation and logistics services company providing long-haul transportation, collection, and loading of waste and other materials. The Talent Coordinator is responsible for assisting the overall recruitment and hiring process for Bulk Environmental. The person in this role will support multiple locations and ensure hiring practices are in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration a plus.
  • 1-2 years of Talent Acquisition/HR Coordinator experience preferred.
  • Must be enthusiastic, proactive, energetic, adaptable, and a self-starter.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, superior organizational skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new hires for multiple locations; this includes preparing new hire documents and safety folders, hiring on HRIS and schedule trainings. Follows up with new hire as needed to complete onboarding.
  • Perform drug screening/background and reference checks for applicants at hire; coordinate the process for any post-accident, random, or other drug screening.
  • Initiates communication with assigned departments to ensure new hires are setup appropriately prior to start date.
  • Ensures all employment candidates are eligible for employment; reviews I9 forms and make copies of documents presented in I9 binder.
  • Conduct new hire orientation for multiple locations (in person and online).
  • Ensure candidates and new hires have a positive experience. Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Work with the HR team to maintain efficient and effective onboarding processes.
  • Identify, track, analyze, report, and act on data to drive system and hiring manager performance, and the applicant experience.
  • Assist/partner with TA Specialist and hiring managers to develop/update job descriptions.
  • Collect feedback from the hiring manager to help push candidates through the hiring process.
  • Assist and function as a backup to the Talent Acquisition Specialist. Assist with recruitment process and job ad postings.
  • Partner with the rest of the HR team to propose, participate, and execute HR projects as needed.
  • Assist with reporting and data collection, enter in HRIS system.
  • Perform other duties and assist with projects as needed.
