Tax Technology & Process Improvement Utilize technology systems and tools (Oracle, CorpTAX, Essbase, Smart View, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.) to improve workflow and productivity. Document, analyze, and recommend improvements for end-to-end tax processes. Identify automation opportunities to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Stay current on new technology developments and tax reporting requirements. Data Management & Reporting Query, extract, and summarize data from multiple systems for tax positions and workpapers. Standardize routine reporting to meet tax data requirements. Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to improve data flow and system integrations. Training & Support Train and support end users on tax technology tools and processes. Tax Compliance & Analysis Develop tools to monitor subsidiary profit margin and facilitate potential updates to transfer pricing accordingly. Develop dashboards for monitoring workflows and compliance status. Support further automation of federal and state tax compliance, income tax provisions, and practical tax rate calculations. Assist tax team with tax planning, modeling, and special transactions. Audit Support Provide data and validation for audits and inquiries from financial audit teams and taxing authorities. Education and Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years in corporate accounting, IT or tax (public accounting or private industry). Technical Skills: Oracle power user Core tax systems (Corptax Provision), a plus. Familiarity with data extraction tools, ERP systems (Oracle, SAP), BI tools, Data Visualization etc. Proficiency in MS Suite; Hyperion preferred. Expertise: Demonstrated experience in process improvement and data analysis for efficiency. Soft Skills: Self-motivated, business savvy, high integrity, strong team player, with excellent analytical abilities. Working Conditions This position is in an office environment. Physical Requirements The physical requirements of this position are consistent with an office role - prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, monitor use.
