About The Position

Are You Passionate About Early Childhood Education and Making a Difference in Young Learner’s Lives? We’re looking for a caring and energetic Pre-K Teacher Assistant to support classroom instruction, foster positive child development, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment. If you love working with young children and are committed to their success, we want to hear from you! As a Teacher Assistant, you’ll support the lead teacher in implementing curriculum, supervising children, and fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. This full-time position assists with assessments, parent engagement, and school readiness activities to help children thrive.

Requirements

  • Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent certification in a related field
  • Experience in a preschool setting or working with young children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to the mission of supporting children, families and communities
  • Successful completion of a post-offer, pre-employment physical examination, TB screen, and background screen inclusive of CHRI and CARI check is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily classroom activities and child supervision
  • Support curriculum implementation aligned with NAEYC and Head Start standards
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
  • Conduct developmental screenings and maintain child progress records
  • Engage with parents to support family and community involvement
  • Participate in professional development and team collaboration
