JOB SUMMARY:
To provide safe, competent and ethical cardiology care to all patients. Provide leadership and direction to those employees with less technical experience.

Requirements

• Current BLS Required, CCT certification preferred.
• Six month experience in EKG preferred.
• Must administer and successfully complete a minimum of 30 stress tests (combination of exercise and pharmacological stress tests) under the direct supervision of a Cardiologist within the first 90-day period.
• Must perform a minimum of 50 stress tests (combination of exercise and pharmacological stress tests) per year to maintain competency.

Nice To Haves

• CCT certification preferred.
• Six month experience in EKG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate a satisfactory quantity of output in a timely manner.
• Performs EKGs, Holter monitoring, EEGs, and Stress tests according to policy.
• Completes and properly documents all worked performed.
• Practices diagnostic cardiovascular procedures with awareness for safety, education, and infection control.
• Maintains equipment ready for use and demonstrates satisfactorily understanding of use of all equipment.
