For additional information, visit www.livenationentertainment.com. WHO ARE YOU? You are the go-to resource for your expert knowledge of specific systems. Your uniquely high attention to detail allows you to identify system behavior and patterns that many others overlook. You engineer clever solutions and processes to overcome technical limitations within systems. You obsess over standardization and uniformity across an enterprise system while supporting the inevitable exceptions to the ideal standard. You create documentation that needs little introduction because it’s intuitive and straightforward to a broad audience. While you’re proficient at working independently, you habitually communicate updates to your team about your work product and project statuses without needing to be prompted. You are comfortable with public speaking and leading cross-training presentations about your systems of expertise. Ideally, you’ve worked before with fast-paced tech change management in the enterprise entertainment, sports, or hospitality industries. THE ROLE The immediate scope of this role requires point-of-sale expertise, supporting system consolidation to 1-2 enterprise solutions across our Live Nation Venues. The contractor must seamlessly transition into the role to assist in database buildout and designing complementary solutions to enable large-scale systems administration. Knowledge of the Live Nation business will gradually develop with time, but sophisticated product expertise is required of the contractor from day one. The contractor will work closely with a handful of experienced LN systems administrators and analysts who support current systems. The contractor will author documentation for change management, test system capabilities, design tools and processes that streamline enterprise POS administration, perform routine data cleanup and high-volume input, and cross-train internal colleagues and end-user operators. The contractor’s unique expertise should support the development of custom tools outside of the larger team’s routine responsibilities. While this is not a direct end user support role, the team may occasionally require that the contractor is available for consultation after conventional business hours due to most concerts occurring in evening and weekend hours. Travel within the US is possible, although not the immediate focus of this remote-based contractor role. While point-of-sale systems remain the focus of the role, demonstrating cross-functional proficiency may translate to Live Nation IT’s broader portfolio of supported systems.
