As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Cleaning Team Lead to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights. Technical Cleaning Team Lead: The Technical Cleaning Team Lead is responsible for overseeing cleaning staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring proper execution. Give morning “Tool Box” Talk.  Lay out the daily plan, milestone goals, ensure all PPE is worn, good condition and each team member is in Salute branded attire. They will go over any potential hazards or concerns of the work. (Electrical panels, Racks, buttons, screens etc.)  and the proper way to move around and or work on them. (Must be done Daily and then apart of the QC walk). Keep track of attendance and report daily on issues for tracking and pattern recognition.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks
  • Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
  • Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
  • Ability to work in environments with a wide variety of temperatures inside a facility
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
  • Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection

Responsibilities

  • Team Supervision- Keep track of attendance and report daily on issues for tracking and pattern recognition.
  • Quality Control: Conducting inspections to maintain cleanliness standards and address any issues.
  • Follow and watch individuals for a few minutes at a time to see how they are cleaning (rough, too quick, sporadic movements etc.)
  • Do site walks with client for sign off when work is completed. Upload this to teams for record keeping.
  • Supply Management: Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Complete and fill out daily Inventory checklist form and upload to team's folder.
  • Check condition of all equipment and make notes of any issues to get a replacement when needed (frayed cords, bent handles, broken bottles etc.)
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all cleaning procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure site paperwork is done before it begins (JHA's , PTP's etc.) for the client. Then upload to a Teams folder for electronic tracking, before turning into the client.
  • Ensure all faulty or damaged equipment is replaced.
  • Confirm all team members are wearing any and all PPE required at all times. Make sure it is in good condition. Replace as needed.
  • Train any new safety protocols that come out to all team members.
  • Lift Usage & Inspection: Ensure that only certified team members operate lifts (scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.).
  • Conduct a pre-operation inspection before each use, including checks for: Leaks (hydraulic, battery, etc.) Damaged guardrails or components Tire or wheel integrity Emergency stop function Proper harness and fall protection equipment
  • Document lift inspections daily and upload forms to the Teams folder.
  • Confirm that lift usage aligns with manufacturer guidelines and site-specific safety requirements.
  • Ensure proper barricades or cones are placed when lifts are in use.
  • Report any malfunctioning lift immediately and remove it from service.
  • Training & Development: Providing guidance and training to team members on best practices.
  • Work with new hires to get training completed before starting on site.
  • Work with all team members to stay up to date on new training.
  • Communicate if new process is tried and results. Communicate any issues with completing training.
  • Work with team members from Observations to improve any techniques or views in the process. (make notes of discussion and corrective steps shown and taken).
  • Give praise for good observation. (make notes of discussion)
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Planning work shifts and coordinating tasks to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure timecards are done daily before leaving site.
  • Track site schedule from customers.
  • Provide that information to PM via Email.
  • Communicate any changes to completion date/turnover/signoff and what new date has been changed to via email.
