About The Position

The SRS Technical Operations Supervisor position is within the Stearns Roger Services (SRS) organization in the Installed Based Business Unit. SRS is a multi-disciplinary group that provides support for existing and new nuclear power facilities. Our group specializes in the design and maintenance of fuel handling equipment for both the BWR and PWR markets. This opportunity is located in Lynchburg, VA at the Mill Ridge Road location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Minimum of 5 years related technical experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of related technical standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.
  • Good analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • The SRS Technical Operations Supervisor supports the planning and execution of SRS operations at customer sites.
  • Ensures effective performance of technical assignments.
  • Plans and directs the timely execution of technical activities, as assigned.
  • Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.
  • Ensures adherence to government, organization and customer standards and procedures.
  • Monitors goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.
  • Provides technical guidance to others in the identification and resolution of problems.
  • Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.
  • Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements.
  • Works on special projects, as directed.

Benefits

  • Salary: $99,000-$134,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
