A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. The YouTube Resource Management team addresses problems that have an impact across all YouTube's (YT) Engineering teams. Speed of execution and the rate of innovation in products serving systems, analysis pipelines, and other critical YT infrastructure are directly impacted by how resources are planned and provided. In this role, you are responsible for generating capacity plans and supporting inorganic launches, and ensuring our product area is operating efficiently and within budget. You will be working with the company’s supply-chain teams to assess where machines can be built and deployed. Creating dashboards, implementing process improvements, and driving infrastructure projects. As part of YT Resource Management, you will be a primary Point of Contact (POC) for forecasting, planning, and allocation of capacity needs across the product area, and function as a liaison between Google's Technical Infrastructure team, Global Deployment/Supply Management, Capacity Infra, and YT Engineering teams to ensure that proper financial accountability yields launches and growth for our products. This team is focused on guiding efficiencies to ensure resources are used effectively. At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. We work together to give everyone the power to share their story, explore what they love, and connect with one another in the process. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity, we move at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. We explore new ideas, solve real problems, and have fun and we do it all together. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
