About The Position

As a Technical Program Manager, you oversee complex, large-scale initiatives that power Clover from Fiserv, our Point-of-Sale (POS) platform used by hundreds of thousands of merchants worldwide. You will partner closely with product, engineering and business stakeholders to drive programs from idea through delivery. Your work ensures our devices, cloud-based POS software, payments processing and app ecosystem come together in an elegant end-to-end solution.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience leading complex technical programs or projects in a product or engineering-focused environment, preferably in payments, financial services or SaaS platforms.
  • Experience driving end-to-end delivery across cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, operations and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skills in program planning, risk management, dependency management, governance, and change control using standard project or program management tools.
  • Experience developing and using quantitative metrics or KPIs to track performance and inform decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with or around POS platforms, payment processing, or large-scale cloud-based systems.
  • Background in Agile or scaled Agile environments (for example, Scrum, Kanban or SAFe) with relevant methodologies applied at scale.
  • Experience working with external partners, vendors or third-party developers via APIs or platform ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large-scale projects and programs for Clover product and engineering teams end to end from inception through implementation, delivery and project closure.
  • Create and manage integrated program plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, resource plans and status reporting for cross-functional teams.
  • Assess, manage and communicate program and project risks, issues and mitigation plans to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Manage change control, scope decisions and contingency planning to keep programs on track and aligned to objectives.
  • Establish, maintain and continuously improve program governance structures to ensure delivery on time, in scope and within budget.
  • Develop, track and publish key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to monitor program health and performance trends.
  • Mentor and support other project managers by sharing best practices, tools and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including partners and other business units, to align expectations and manage successful program delivery.
