In alignment with Kerry’s commercial strategy in North America, you will drive sales of value‑added yeast extracts across key segments—including Prepared Meals, Soups, Sauces, Dressings, Processed Meats, and Snacks—by leveraging our Taste Fermentation portfolio and service offerings. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets within assigned End Use Markets (EUMs) while strengthening customer partnerships and expanding the reach of our technology.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 8–10+ years of industry experience within the food and beverage sector.
  • Strong background in flavor, yeast extract, or fermentation technologies; experience within a flavor house is highly preferred.
  • Proven success working in a complex, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales of yeast extract products through direct customer engagement and distributor partnerships, ensuring strong overall sales performance.
  • Enhance the customer experience by partnering with the sales team and collaborating with customers to communicate and elevate the unique value proposition of Kerry’s Taste Fermentation capabilities.
  • Visit prospects and key customers to provide application guidance, support scale‑ups and troubleshooting, and identify opportunities for broader product adoption aligned with the Taste Fermentation portfolio.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in Yeast Extract and Taste Fermentation, demonstrating where our technologies deliver value in application.
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships across technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive sales expansion across customer applications within our portfolio.
  • Contribute to strategy development and key account planning through market insights, customer mapping, and competitive intelligence.
  • Visit customers and prospects to provide application support; collaborate with Application teams to optimize formulations and maximize portfolio utilization.
  • Train and support distributors and their sales teams on product applications and portfolio positioning.
  • Provide scale‑up and troubleshooting support to key customers.
  • Partner with Key Account Managers, Business Development, Sales, and R&D to deliver aligned commercial outcomes.
